Lazy Afternoon
/Yesterday, each athlete enjoyed a meaty, tasty bone from one of the local butcher shops. Giving out bones serves many purposes:
1) Makes the dogs happy.
2) While chewing on the bone, the dogs give themselves a little teeth cleaning, chipping the plaque off their teeth.
3) For about two hours, the yard is quiet.
4) For the next couple weeks, the dogs can chew on bones (instead of their house) if they ever feel the desire to gnaw on something.
5) It creates excellent fodder for the blog.
